Benefits of public-private partnerships
Unlike the traditional design-bid-build project delivery process, public-private partnerships (P3s) are unique contracts in which public entities, investors, and private businesses share the risks of financing, developing, or operating a project. In addition to risk transfer, P3s can provide greater price and schedule certainty, faster financing and time to market, and increased innovation.
